About Yellow Trouble
Mysterious duck-like creatures have suddenly appeared on Yellow Sands Island, where Mei and her younger brother ZK discover their grandfather and all other adults missing. Alongside their grandfather’s dog, Fibo, the siblings must defend themselves using special water guns and traverse the island to seek help. Gameplay features fluid 8-directional shooting, with shots losing damage over distance, encouraging close-range combat for maximum effect. Defeating enemies builds a pulse bar that can be unleashed for powerful effects: a pulse wave that slows and weakens foes or a charged pulse shot that deals greater damage and cancels enemy projectiles. Each character—Mei, ZK, and Fibo—offers unique shot types, speed, and pulse abilities, requiring strategic mastery to succeed. Yellow Trouble offers two distinct game modes to suit different playstyles. Arcade mode challenges players to clear eight auto-scrolling stages (plus two secret ones) with branching paths and multiple endings, featuring a simple but rewarding scoring system that balances pulse usage with high scores and extends. For a more relaxed, exploratory experience, Quest mode combines run-and-gun action with RPG elements, allowing characters to level up by defeating enemies and completing missions across the island. Both modes support up to three players in local co-op, and the game includes fully customizable controls. With its blend of fast-paced shooting and character progression, Yellow Trouble promises an engaging summer adventure filled with secrets and challenges.
