About Pryzm
Six friends embark on a weekend getaway only to discover a mountain hiding an ancient secret that threatens their survival. Pryzm is a survival adventure mystery blending hand-drawn pixel art with a comic book and visual novel style. Players must carefully manage their characters, balance a unique resource, and make critical choices to escape the mountain’s grasp. Not everyone will survive each playthrough, as the game features turn-based combat and dynamic elements that shift with every new run. Each session typically lasts between one to two hours, designed to be completed in a single sitting for the best ranking. While mistakes are recoverable with strategic planning, game overs are common, adding tension to every decision. The game offers post-game-over features that help players of all skill levels improve their runs by learning the lore and mastering resource and time management. Skilled players can further test their abilities through online leaderboard speedruns, competing for the fastest no-continue runs and refining strategies to climb the ranks. Pryzm’s concise gameplay delivers multiple endings based on player performance and uncovered secrets, supported by an approachable risk-and-reward combat system and changing escape parameters for replayability. With no jump scares or overtly disturbing imagery, the primary source of fear is the high stakes of having only one autosave slot, creating a suspenseful atmosphere rooted in uncertainty and consequence.

- Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Pryzm v1.1.7.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
- Double click inside the Pryzm v1.1.7 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
