Your daily routine involves scanning over 100 products, verifying IDs, grilling hot dogs, and managing a steadily growing list of corporate regulations—from enforcing age limits on energy drinks to validating promo coupons and loyalty cards. The challenge intensifies as you juggle a diverse, rotating cast of 50 unique customers, including haggling businessmen, bribe-offering black market dealers, impatient Karens, and even a suspiciously large proboscis monkey. Each shift demands quick thinking and sharp patience as the queue lengthens and the timer ticks down, all while you strive to keep your job and support your family on a cashier’s wage. Beyond the register, the game delves into Kazio’s personal struggles and strategic decisions. Balancing a tight budget, you must allocate earnings toward rent, food, medicine, schooling, and heating, or reinvest in upgrading the store—from a dilapidated post-Soviet kiosk to a sleek, neon-lit Cyber-Żopka boasting 22 unlockable improvements in lighting, security, shelving, and premium product lines. Your choices carry weight: accept bribes or uphold integrity, join the union or stay loyal, save for your mother’s surgery or enhance the business. Over 30 days, your decisions shape one of nine distinct endings, ranging from hopeful to devastating, with a New Game Plus mode rewarding multiple playthroughs.
