About A Fox and His Robot

Become Alpha, one of the last foxes in the universe, as you attempt a daring escape from the high-security Bio-Prison-9 on the hazardous planet Delta 7. In this 2D action-platformer, Alpha teams up with a mysterious robot aided by an enigmatic Artificial Intelligence to break free from captivity and navigate a stunning yet perilous world. With hostile AIs relentlessly pursuing them, Alpha must rely on sharp wit and agile reflexes to outmaneuver robotic enemies and overcome treacherous terrain. The game challenges players to master diverse biomes by using abilities like jumping, dashing, manipulating wind, and activating portals, encouraging exploration and speedrunning through alternate routes. A Fox and His Robot also features a local multiplayer Coliseum where two players can face off in intense one-on-one death matches across 12 unique arenas, revealing the backstory leading up to Alpha’s escape. Developed by Joshua Janik, known for the ‘Fox Ridge’ and ‘A Transposition in Time’ franchises, the game combines expertly crafted platforming with a rich narrative exploring the complex relationship between organic life and Artificial Intelligence. With its breathtaking environments and fast-paced gameplay, A Fox and His Robot offers a captivating experience that blends action, strategy, and story-driven adventure in a futuristic setting.
