WILL: Follow The Light is a story-driven, first-person adventure puzzle game that immerses players in a perilous personal journey across the harsh northern latitudes. You take on the role of Will, a lighthouse keeper living in solitude on a remote island, whose life is upended by a sudden disaster that leaves his hometown in ruins and his only son missing. Determined to reunite with his family, Will embarks on a challenging quest aboard his sailing yacht, Molly, navigating treacherous seas and exploring unforgiving landscapes. Along the way, players uncover hidden truths about Will’s relationships with his father and wife, piecing together a fragmented past while confronting difficult revelations about himself. This emotional journey unfolds through diverse environments such as abandoned islands reachable only by sea, rugged mountain ranges traversed by dog sled, and a ruined home accessible on foot. The game offers a rich narrative experience complemented by realistic traversal systems, including sailing and dog sledding mechanics, that bring the vast northern wilderness to life using Unreal Engine 5. Players engage with immersive puzzles and set-piece moments that challenge both their intellect and resolve. The cinematic storytelling is enhanced by environmental details and narration that delve deeply into the themes of family and survival.
