About Vintage Hero
Step back into the vibrant world of the 1980s with a retro-inspired adventure that combines classic action, platforming, and a humorous twist. You guide Floyd, a lowly jail custodian, alongside his mentor and friend, as they rise to the challenge of defeating a nefarious alien invasion when the so-called hero Giga Man falls from grace. The game features six meticulously designed stages that you can tackle in any order, allowing for a personalized experience while unraveling an engaging story. You face intense boss battles where strategizing to exploit each boss’s weaknesses is crucial, and encounter over 25 unique enemies that keep the action fast-paced and exciting. - Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Vintage Hero.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
- Double click inside the Vintage Hero folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
