About Toroban
Toroban is an infinitely wrapping puzzle game that invites players to explore a nonlinear overworld filled with interconnected challenges across diverse biomes, each offering unique mechanics and thematic elements. The journey begins in the Grass biome, a tutorial area featuring simple toroidal puzzles involving blocks, buttons, and gates. Moving into the Ruins, players encounter crumbled walls that open access to puzzles from the outside world, requiring them to transfer objects between puzzles and alternate between activating toroidal puzzles and engaging with external elements. In the Snow biome, the gameplay introduces X and Y axis blocks that shift the alignment of the toroidal grid, adding a new layer of spatial complexity. As players progress, they reach the Fall biome where multiple characters called toros can work together to solve puzzles, emphasizing cooperation and strategy. The Desert biome combines all previously introduced mechanics, giving rise to entirely new puzzle types that challenge players’ understanding of the game’s systems. Finally, the Cosmic biome reveals a secret mechanic alongside more advanced overworld puzzles and sub-puzzles, pushing players’ problem-solving skills to the limit. - Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Toroban.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
- Double click inside the Toroban folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
