About Survivalist

It’s one year after the collapse of civilization and self-centered hedge fund manager Joe Wheeler emerges from his specially constructed bunker in search of food. This is a huge open-world Role Playing Game where you have the freedom to play how you want – but your choices have consequences. Your aim is to find other survivors, gain their respect, and build a community. You’ll scavenge for supplies, trade, plant crops, go on quests, face moral dilemmas, go to war, and uncover dark, terrible secrets! Innovative dialog system with characters that remember your actions and form their opinion of you accordingly. Combines Action-RPG and Real-Time Strategy elements – you can take control of, or issue commands to, any character that joins your community. Fast zombies and challenging combat that requires you to make use of all resources available to survive!

Instructions

• Click the Download button below and you will be redirected to UploadHaven.
• Wait 5 seconds and click on the blue ‘download now’ button. We recommend using a download manager for faster download speeds. (You can use FDM which is free here, or any other download manager).
• Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Survivalist v68.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
• Double click inside the Survivalist v68 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.

• Additional Notes: Uses the XNA Framework HiDef profile, which means it will run on any graphics card that is compatible with DirectX 10 or higher, and some but not all DirectX 9c ones. PLEASE NOTE: having a version of DirectX installed on your PC is not the same thing as having a graphics card that supports it! If in doubt play the demo.
