About Sound of Horses

Sound of Horses is a story-driven, multi-part horseback adventure that begins in the tranquil Homeland and gradually unfolds into a deeper, more mysterious journey. Players create their own rider and horse before exploring expansive open landscapes rich with everyday life and subtle secrets. The Early Access version features Episode 1: Homeland, where the peaceful rhythms of daily horseback life slowly give way to the first hints of an unfolding mystery. As the story progresses, it builds toward a surprising cliffhanger that leads into Episode 2: The Forest Guard, introducing a parallel world known as the Other Side—an enigmatic realm shaped by forgotten secrets and ancient forces. From this point onward, players navigate between the familiar routines of Homeland and the shifting, strange paths of the Other Side, balancing the demands of both worlds while uncovering unique regional horse cultures, traditions, breeds, and competitions. The planned episodes expand the narrative across diverse and atmospheric settings, each adding new layers of challenge and discovery. Episode 2 takes players from dense forests to snow-covered mountains as they learn the ways of the Forest Guards and the secrets they protect. Episode 3 invites players to solve riddles and compete in ancient contests within Draconia, a land steeped in old legends. Episode 4 explores the Steppe, where players train with its people and face a final test of strength, trust, and skill against the legendary Eagle. The concluding Episode 5 journeys into Volcania, a land of fire and ice, where the ultimate mysteries await. With a focus on immersive storytelling, atmosphere, and a meaningful riding experience, Sound of Horses offers players of all ages a gentle yet evolving adventure—one ride at a time.
