About ROLLING STAR
In the year 2301, Laurie, a 21-year-old hikikomori, leads a quiet life in her solitary space pod orbiting Earth. Her days are consumed by tinkering with her bionic arms, a peaceful routine shattered when an alien invasion strikes. After her pod is shot down, Laurie crashes onto Colony 102, a mysterious settlement rumored to house a secret weapon capable of turning the tide against the extraterrestrial threat. Now, with humanity’s survival resting in her cold, metal hands, Laurie must navigate the sprawling colony, unlocking new skills and equipment in a vast Metroidvania adventure that eventually grants her the power to traverse the vacuum of space itself. The game delivers intense Metroidvania action featuring enormous bosses that dominate the screen with relentless attacks, challenging players to master combat and earn hard-won victories. Defeated foes drop valuable materials, which can be crafted into new equipment and combined with Laurie’s abilities to create a personalized fighting style. With the acquisition of a vehicle, exploration expands beyond the colony’s confines into the limitless expanse of outer space, where zero-gravity combat introduces a fresh dynamic and hidden treasures await discovery.
