About Responding
Responding is an upcoming open-world Emergency Services simulator sandbox that delivers a realistic and immersive experience across Police, Fire, and EMS roles in a fictional rendition of New York State. Players enjoy complete freedom to engage in pursuits, traffic stops, shootouts, and intense 4th alarm box fires, all while collaborating with friends or intelligent AI to maintain safety and order throughout the city and surrounding suburbs. Scene management plays a critical role, with AI partners actively contributing to resolving incidents by securing scenes, gathering evidence, and interviewing witnesses, creating a dynamic and authentic emergency response environment that evolves with every call. The game elevates emergency services simulation by incorporating tactical shooter-inspired mechanics such as tactical reloads, breath control, and ammo management, bringing unprecedented action to the genre. Customization is a core focus, allowing players to personalize vehicles from equipment storage to antenna placement, as well as fine-tune emergency lighting systems with detailed control over lighting patterns and message board displays, including three real-time switchable presets. Players can seamlessly pull over vehicles for any reason, issue warnings or tickets, or prepare for unpredictable attempts to evade law enforcement. - Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Responding v0.852.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
- Double click inside the Responding v0.852 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
