The story centers on the remote island of Kameshima, nestled in Ise Bay, where Yuza Minakuchi, a young pearl diver, spends his days beneath the waves alongside his best friend Azami Kumoi. After a surreal encounter with another version of himself on the ocean floor, a series of curses begins to plague the island, drawing together a girl of unknown origins, a foreign treasure hunter, and a mysterious housewife investigating a drowning. These intertwined paths propel players toward uncovering the long-hidden secrets behind the mermaid legends that have been shrouded in the mists of time. Set against faithfully recreated real-world locations in collaboration with Mie Prefecture, the game invites players to explore stunning 360-degree backgrounds in search of clues.
