About Monstrous Lovers
This game flips the typical monster-romance trope into a compelling workplace drama, where the daily grind of civic service takes center stage. Set in a city where nonhumans dominate, players step into the shoes of Christopher Wells, a human civil servant seeking purpose amid bureaucratic chaos. As he navigates an underfunded office and strained interspecies relations, the story unfolds through rich dialogue and decision-making rather than combat. The choices you make influence not just romantic entanglements but also work relationships, leading to one of four character-driven paths and multiple endings. With over 160,000 words of narrative, this visual novel excels in character development and social themes, enhanced by voice acting that adds depth to pivotal scenes. Perfect for fans of thoughtful queer romance games that blend interpersonal dynamics with serious themes, this title invites players who enjoy stories grounded in emotional realism.
