A mesmerizing, intertwined, and decaying world awaits you in MIO: Memories in Orbit. You awaken as MIO, a nimble robot with extraordinary abilities, aboard the Vessel, a massive spaceship drifting aimlessly through space. Once a technological ark of unknown purpose, the Vessel now lies in ruins, overgrown with lush vegetation and plagued by rogue machines. The AI caretakers known as the Pearls have mysteriously ceased functioning, leaving the Vessel forgotten and on the brink of shutdown. As you explore this vast metroidvania labyrinth, you’ll delve into its depths to revive lost memories, uncover your true past, and unravel the dark secrets behind the tragic blackout. Along the way, repair damaged robots to gain valuable bonuses, interact with the environment to learn more about the ship’s history, and discover hidden pathways in a breathtaking world inspired by comics, paintings, and anime, all brought to life with a unique, dynamic soundtrack blending lo-fi beats and choral melodies. The Vessel itself is a living organism, filled with diverse ecosystems, intricate architectures, and a bestiary of over 30 enemy units, including 15 formidable guardian bosses such as the relentless Mosquito and the menacing Scarecrow. Master MIO’s arsenal of game-changing abilities—grappling hook, air gliding, spider-like wall clinging—and refine your skills with precision, rhythm, and timing to navigate this twisted, interconnected space. Adapt to every encounter by unleashing powerful orbs, creating decoy clones, or evading foes with your hook. Customize and enhance MIO’s abilities by scavenging enemy components and applying Modifiers to tailor your fighting style—whether that means turning your grappling hook into a deadly lasso or sacrificing your shield to boost damage. Instructions

- Wait 5 seconds and click on the blue ‘download now’ button. We recommend using a download manager for faster download speeds. (You can use FDM which is free here, or any other download manager).
- Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to MIO: Memories in Orbit v1.2.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
- Double click inside the MIO: Memories in Orbit v1.2 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
