About METRO QUESTER

METRO QUESTER is a dungeon exploration RPG set in a post-apocalyptic futuristic Tokyo, brought to life by manga artist Kazushi Hagiwara and featuring a deep game system designed by Hironori Kato. The game channels the excitement and unpredictability of classic 1980s computer games through its hack-and-slash gameplay. Players navigate desolate dungeons using auto-mapping, encountering breakable walls, creature nests, and hidden vaults while scavenging for essential resources like “Purification Fuel” to power actions and food to survive. Along the way, you’ll discover new bases and allies, pushing ever deeper into the perilous underground environment in search of greater challenges and rewards. Combat in METRO QUESTER is a strategic, turn-based system where you can execute up to three actions per turn within your available Action Points (AP). Opponents also perform multiple actions, creating overlapping turns that demand careful planning. The battle screen provides valuable information, including the expected turn order and Hate values, which influence enemy targeting. Mastering Hate management allows players to tactically coordinate tank and attacker roles, crafting effective combos and skill sequences. The dungeons teem with diverse equipment, dropped by enemies or hidden in safes, offering opportunities to enhance, modify, or dismantle gear to suit your playstyle. This layered combat and exploration experience invites players to adapt, strategize, and survive in a hostile world filled with danger and discovery.

Instructions

• Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to METRO QUESTER v1.0.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
• Double click inside the METRO QUESTER v1.0 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
