Loathful is a first-person psychological horror game that plunges you into a vintage, retro-style world rendered with authentic PS1 graphics. You assume the role of a young employee at Neural Net Solutions, a cutting-edge technology company pioneering mind-uploading innovations. Invited to test their groundbreaking technology, you can upload your consciousness into the cloud, either temporarily or indefinitely, only to find that what was meant to be an escape quickly devolves into a relentless nightmare. The game challenges you to navigate an ever-shifting virtual reality vacation resort composed of five distinct worlds, each filled with subtle mechanics and intricate puzzles designed to push your limits. - Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Loathful.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
- Double click inside the Loathful folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
