Legionbound is a retro-inspired party-based RPG that combines classic fantasy elements with modern autobattler mechanics, challenging players to recruit and manage a vast legion of heroes. Assemble a traveling army of up to 50 heroes, stacking synergies and experimenting with diverse fantasy classes to survive wave after wave of relentless enemies. Combat unfolds automatically, but strategic choices still matter: reposition your heroes, cast unlockable spells, and equip passive items tailored to your team’s strengths. As your heroes grow stronger, fuse them into powerful Ascension classes that can turn the tide of battle and offer deeper tactical control. With over 400 Ascension heroes and 30 unique classes to discover, each run becomes a fresh test of skill and adaptability. Legionbound offers two distinct ways to play: Battle Mode and Adventure Mode. Battle Mode is an endurance challenge where you recruit heroes mid-run and strive to outlast escalating enemy waves across multiple maps, unlocking more heroes and battlegrounds as you progress. Adventure Mode presents a roguelite journey filled with choices, building construction, and team enhancements, culminating in a confrontation with the formidable Endbringer—or a strategic reset to gain additional power. Regardless of victory or defeat, persistent progression is key: earn skill points, navigate a complex skill tree, and unlock bonuses that strengthen future attempts. With its blend of strategic depth, expansive hero customization, and challenging gameplay, Legionbound offers a unique and rewarding experience for fans of party-based RPGs and autobattlers alike.

Instructions

Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Legionbound v1.05.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
Double click inside the Legionbound v1.05 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
