Hungry Horrors invites you to craft traditional British and Irish dishes in a unique card game where cooking replaces combat, and every meal can mean the difference between triumph and becoming the next course. Build and customize your culinary deck with authentic recipes and spices from across the British Isles, combining ingredients to chain flavorful combos that satisfy each Horror’s distinct cravings. Face off against mythical monsters drawn from Celtic, English, Irish, Scottish, and Welsh legends, including Black Annis, Jenny Greenteeth, and Grendel, each with their own appetite and personality. To survive, you must feed these creatures before they reach you, using your growing culinary arsenal to stay one step ahead and turn the tide of battle with perfectly timed dishes. Explore enchanted woods, peaceful meadows, and spooky bogs as you uncover legendary artifacts, epic cookware, and rare spices while delving deeper into ancient folklore and mythology. Each dish carries unique tastes—sweet, salty, sour, bitter, savory, or bland—and mastering these flavors unlocks powerful combos that can shift the balance of any encounter. Learn each Horror’s preferences, from their favorite Bakewell Tart to dishes they despise like Fish and Chips, and serve the perfect meal to satisfy even the most monstrous appetite. - Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Hungry Horrors v0.1.6.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
- Double click inside the Hungry Horrors v0.1.6 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
