About FZ: Formation Z
One of Jaleco’s most iconic titles, Formation Z, returns with a full remake that revitalizes the classic experience for modern players. This updated version preserves the intuitive gameplay of switching between Robot and Flight forms while introducing enhanced graphics, refined sound design, and new weaponry. Players control the versatile Ixpel, capable of transforming in real-time between ground-based Robot form, which excels in melee attacks and precision shots, and the Flight form, designed for high-speed aerial combat. Across five expansive missions, players can freely navigate the terrain and tailor their approach to each battle, making strategic choices that suit their preferred combat style. Customization plays a central role in shaping your Ixpel’s performance and appearance. By earning FZ Points during missions, you unlock new machines and cosmetic options, allowing you to enhance your firepower through a modular system with four upgrade slots. Whether you aim for a balanced build or specialize in a specific ability, the factory provides flexibility to create an Ixpel that matches your playstyle. After completing missions, Score Attack mode challenges you to surpass your best performances, with high scores tracked for every stage. Additionally, the game features an extensive archive to document your progress, including detailed enemy data, battle statistics, and unlockable artwork. Formation Z offers a thrilling blend of nostalgic action and modern refinement, inviting players to master the skies and the battlefield alike.

Instructions

- Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to FZ: Formation Z.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
- Double click inside the FZ: Formation Z folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
