Dwarf Eats Mountain is a strategic incremental game centered on devouring mountains to harvest gold. Players hire dwarves and deploy an array of war machines, from dynamite throwers to laser cannons, while collecting powerful artifacts to create unique synergies that accelerate progression with each run. The challenge lies not only in physically and emotionally damaging the mountain but also in safely transporting the gold back home. This dangerous task is entrusted to the Runners, nimble dwarves who dodge falling rocks and hazards, risking their beards to feed the insatiable Great Maw. As the mountain takes more damage, it retaliates with escalating calamities, forcing players to carefully balance mining efforts with the perilous haul of treasure before disaster strikes. Mastering the dwarven art of treasure extraction requires strategic planning and adaptability. The game offers a vast roster of buildings and dwarves, each with distinct strengths and abilities, including spelunkers, runesmiths, brewmasters, bulldozers, and gyrocopters. Players can acquire numerous upgrades, cast active rituals to enhance their forces, and collect over 120 ancient artifacts that shape gameplay and strategy. With more than 96 prestige upgrades to unlock, each run can be tailored for faster progress and new synergies. Managing rare resources such as mithril and mountain souls adds an extra layer of decision-making, while uncovering the secrets hidden beneath the world spire reveals the fate of those who dared to dig too deep.
