About Cargo Hunters
Cargo Hunters is a third-person extraction PvE shooter set on a decaying Earth ravaged by superviruses unleashed from melting Antarctic ice. As a remote-controlled humanoid robot, you scavenge for valuable resources in a world where humanity has mostly perished or fled. The wealthy escaped to distant colonies during the ‘Second Exodus,’ leaving behind their once-precious memorabilia now considered useless except to those desperate enough to pay for their recovery. Your mission is to collect loot, build and maintain your shelter, and survive relentless challenges posed by hostile enemies and the harsh environment. Every decision matters, from how you approach combat to what gear you carry, as losing your haul means starting over with nothing. The game emphasizes strategic survival where stealth, brute force, crafting, and scavenging all play vital roles. You customize your robot with human clothes, armor, weapons, and interchangeable limbs while harvesting parts from fallen foes to recycle and upgrade your gear. - Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Cargo Hunters v0.26.26.43.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
- Double click inside the Cargo Hunters v0.26.26.43 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
