“Is It Okay to Fall in Love with an Idol?” is a romantic comedy visual novel that puts you in the role of the manager for the new idol group Melonchu (♡愛恋人♡). However, love flags quickly appear, and all the members start with maximum affection toward you, creating a chaotic and humorous dilemma. You must carefully navigate choices that balance the idols’ growing feelings with the need to maintain a high Live Success Rate, ultimately determining whether the debut concert will succeed or fail. This unique premise offers a fresh twist on the otome game genre, blending romance and strategy in a lighthearted narrative. The game features multiple romance routes with the charismatic members of Melonchu, including Kagura Issa, the confident and bossy rap leader; Nijo Ranmaru, the rough but affectionate dancer; and Mitoge Otoha, the low-energy SNS-savvy idol with a quirky way of speaking.
