Breakwaters: Crystal Tides offers a fresh take on exploration survival by immersing players in a vast procedural ocean world teeming with danger and mystery. Players harvest powerful crystals that allow them to manipulate water itself—displacing and deforming the ocean to reveal hidden resources or build walls to protect against relentless waves. The game features a massive, dynamic ocean simulation spanning over 360 square kilometers, filled with unique biomes, islands, and diverse NPCs. As you gather rare materials from the depths, craft items, and customize your boat, you’ll encounter deadly Titans—gigantic ancient creatures like the Turtle, Serpent, and Crab Titans—each with distinctive behaviors and devastating attacks that shape the environment and threaten human settlements. Survival depends on skillful resource management, strategic building, and navigating treacherous weather as you trade with fishermen and ports or embark on daring voyages across stormy seas. Construct mission worlds, creative-mode realms, or free-survival environments as you adapt your playstyle to farming, exploring, or adventuring. - Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Breakwaters: Crystal Tides v0.9.77.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
- Double click inside the Breakwaters: Crystal Tides v0.9.77 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
