About BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light
Set against a backdrop of a shimmering blue sky and crystal-clear waters, BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light invites players into a mysterious world where three girls, including the enigmatic Ao Hoshizaki, awaken without memories in a school surrounded entirely by water. As they grapple with their lost identities, the girls embark on a journey to uncover clues that might lead them back to their original world. Their quest takes a sudden turn when a newly revealed path leads to a strange location filled with familiar yet inexplicable sights, where they encounter unknown monsters. Just when hope seems lost, the girls gain a mysterious power, setting the stage for a compelling story about youth, identity, and connection, all beautifully brought to life with Mel Kishida’s translucent character designs and atmospheric settings. Gameplay centers around building and customizing your own school by adding unique facilities like a Takoyaki Stand or a Pool, tailored to the preferences of the girls you interact with. The game’s command-style battles have been enhanced into exhilarating real-time combat, enabling players to chain combos and maintain a fast-paced, strategic flow. Outside of battle, players can deepen bonds with the girls by fulfilling their requests, going on dates, and exploring the evocative Heartscapes—mystical realms reflecting each character’s inner thoughts and memories.
