Unknown Tapes is a horror video game that employs the found footage technique to narrate a story focused on survival in a modern setting overrun by dinosaurs. It aims for realism and draws inspiration from Dino Crisis and Outlast.

A story will unfold, with an expected playtime of 2-3 hours from start to finish

You are being hunted by dinosaurs, and you will need to hide, avoid making too much noise, and sometimes use your wits.

Buildings can be destroyed by larger dinosaurs, so you can’t always count on finding protection inside.

The game is primarily set at night, featuring both outdoor and indoor environments, some of which may feel claustrophobic.

• An Infested Urban World: Thanks to photogrammetry and the graphical power of Unreal Engine 5, we’ve recreated detailed urban environments. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to walk through a town overrun by dinosaurs?
• Real-Time Voice Detection: Thanks to the use of the microphone, dinosaurs can hear your voice when you talk or shout in the real world and will react accordingly to what they perceive
• Photogrammetry: We used the most advanced photogrammetry software to directly bring real-world objects and environments into the game. Many of the things you see actually exist in the real world
• Motion Tracking: Using various software and solutions, we successfully recreated a realistic camera movement by digitizing it and integrating it into the game
