About Cast Out Colony

Cast Out Colony has been described by it’s players as a mix of Animal Crossing or Cult of the Lamb and Vampire Survivors. It fuses roguelite gameplay, bullet-heaven action, and intricate town-building components to craft an entirely distinctive experience, redefining the survival genre. The meta-progression is located within the colony itself. The larger you grow your colony, the higher you character’s stats become. Choose from a variety of adorable arthropods and not-so-creepy crawlies, each with their own unique skills and characteristics. Bullet Heaven combat way through the never-ending hordes of beasties and baddies. Stick with your favorites, or experiment with something new; either way, no two runs will ever be quite the same! Build your own colony and increase it’s inhabitants, some of which will help you in your survival! Growing your colony provides bonuses, both permanent and temporary, meaning the stronger you build your colony, the stronger your character can become.

Instructions

Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Cast Out Colony.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
Double click inside the Cast Out Colony folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
