About Among the Trolls

Step into a hauntingly beautiful world where folklore shapes the very essence of the forest. This first-person narrative survival adventure immerses players in the eerie landscapes of rural Finland, where Anna searches for her missing grandfather amidst ancient woods teeming with both beauty and danger. Instead of mere scenery, the wilderness acts as a living entity that influences the gameplay, requiring players to gather resources, craft gear, and build shelter while navigating the ever-changing environment and its supernatural elements.

The game seamlessly combines personal discovery with Finnish mythology, drawing on the rich traditions of the Kalevala and shamanic beliefs to create a unique backdrop rarely seen in gaming. With a visually striking, dreamlike aesthetic and an atmospheric soundscape, this experience is tailored for those who appreciate exploration, storytelling, and folklore. If you enjoy games like The Long Dark or Firewatch, this one will resonate with you.
