About A Winter's Daydream

This charming supernatural comedy takes a unique spin on family dynamics and the complications that arise during a New Year’s homecoming. Set in a tranquil, snow-covered village, players follow nineteen-year-old Yuu as he escapes a tense family environment, only to find his elderly grandmother transformed into a young woman after a shooting star passes overhead. As a kinetic visual novel, the gameplay focuses solely on reading, with no choices or endings to navigate, allowing players to immerse themselves in the narrative for about three to four hours.

The story shines with its blend of humor and heart, showcasing Yuu's awkward journey as he grapples with family tensions and the mystery of his grandmother’s transformation. With beautiful character art and an original soundtrack enhancing the cozy atmosphere, the game captures the essence of lighthearted slice-of-life tales. Ideal for fans of compact visual novels or those looking for an easygoing narrative experience, this game offers a delightful respite from more complex titles.
