About Unusual Tales: After Bark
Dive into a chilling holiday getaway where your loyal canine companion senses an unseen threat lurking in the snowy backdrop. This episodic psychological horror game offers a fresh twist by placing you in the paws of a pet, navigating through eerie environments to protect your family while they remain blissfully unaware of the impending danger. Players explore an unsettling winter retreat, uncovering hidden clues and reacting to looming threats, all while struggling to communicate warnings through barks that may or may not be heeded. The game's unique perspective deepens the horror, as you embody a devoted dog with limited control over the unfolding events, making the experience both tense and deeply personal. With a blend of genuine scares and playful writing, this title is perfect for fans of narrative-driven indie horror who appreciate a vulnerable viewpoint, reminiscent of games like Among the Sleep.
