About Liminal Shroud
Step into an unsettling world where familiar spaces morph into nightmarish landscapes, creating a uniquely haunting experience. This first-person psychological horror game immerses players in a series of deserted, nostalgia-laden environments inspired by late-20th-century interiors. Instead of relying on jump scares, it focuses on the slow-building dread of exploration, where every hallway feels like a distorted memory. Players navigate interconnected areas, piecing together the narrative through visual clues and environmental details without combat or dialogue to distract from the tension. The sound design enhances this oppressive atmosphere, utilizing distant drones and eerie silences to amplify the feeling of being watched. If you enjoy the eerie allure of backrooms or the atmospheric storytelling found in titles like Layers of Fear, this game is sure to leave a lasting impression.
