About Duppy Detective Tashia
Chasing after her assailant, Tashia stumbles upon the Halfway Market, a vibrant bazaar tucked beneath a sprawling cotton tree. As she navigates this hidden world, Tashia quickly realizes she’s lost far more than a cell phone—she’s become entangled in a murder mystery. To solve the case, she must delve into the lives of the market’s ghostly inhabitants, uncovering their stories before their untimely deaths. The Halfway Market is a magical place where the mundane and the mystical intertwine, inhabited by Duppy—mischievous spirits known for both trickery and wisdom. Tashia’s investigation takes her through bustling stalls and shifting scenes, with suspects moving about at different times of day, adding layers of complexity to her quest. As Tashia gathers clues and pieces together motives, she interrogates seven suspects inspired by creatures of myth and legend. Each interaction provides new insights that must be cross-referenced with the facts she uncovers.
