About Turnbound

Turnbound is a strategic autobattler that challenges players to outthink and outmaneuver trapped souls within a haunted board game. Each asynchronous PvP session pits you against real player builds left behind in the matchmaking database, offering a unique blend of competitive inventory management and tactical grid placement. Every tile you place triggers cause-and-effect loops influencing the surrounding tiles, rewarding foresight, creativity, and adaptability. During the Shop Phase, you carefully select, position, and upgrade weapons, items, armor, consumables, and accessories to craft synergies that give you an edge. As you win battles, your Hero gains new abilities through branching upgrades, while trinkets unlock powerful combos. The game’s combat unfolds systematically from left to right, top to bottom, and detailed playback tools allow you to analyze each encounter, refine your strategy, and improve your board management over time. Players can take their time planning builds and face opponents with matching progress to ensure fair competition, regardless of whether those builds are from winning runs or ongoing attempts. Builds you create are automatically added to the pool, enabling a continuously evolving meta where you can battle spirits asynchronously or challenge friends directly using unique build codes. This feature allows for head-to-head duels or encounters with featured community builds, emphasizing skill and strategic depth. With multiple Heroes, dozens of trinkets and abilities, hundreds of items, and six chambers of progression culminating in a competitive Final Chamber leaderboard, Turnbound offers a fast-paced, chaotic, and richly strategic experience. The game’s art and battles are crafted entirely by designers and players, with no generative AI involved, ensuring a truly authentic and player-driven environment.

Instructions

• Click the Download button below and you will be redirected to UploadHaven.
• Wait 5 seconds and click on the blue ‘download now’ button. We recommend using a download manager for faster download speeds. (You can use FDM which is free here, or any other download manager).
• Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Turnbound v1.0.0b.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
• Double click inside the Turnbound v1.0.0b folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
