About HYPNOS
HYPNOS is a first-person adventure and exploration game set within a Lovecraftian megastructure that unfolds like a fever dream. Players enter the Nameless City at the edge of the Dreamlands, following a trail into the shadow of the Holy Mountain, Kadath, where gods reside. In this surreal realm, the laws of the universe falter, giving way to otherworldly forces that reshape reality. You assume the role of Choron, a vagabond haunted by his past, who embarks on a quest to find a faceless boy named Matthew who haunts his dreams. To unravel the mysteries of the city and his own destiny, Choron must navigate cryptic puzzles, confront the Monarchs ruling the far reaches of this strange world, and pierce the veils that separate ignorance from truth. Exploration is at the heart of HYPNOS, offering a unique semi-open world where players can chart their own path through the enigmatic Nameless City. The game features branched dialogues, meaningful choices, and multiple alternative endings influenced by interactions with the city’s bizarre inhabitants—dreamers, spirits, and creatures all entwined in a complex web of causality. The layered world design encourages players to engage with their environment, transforming the very materia of dreams and reshaping the city’s reality. Instructions
- Click the Download button below and you will be redirected to UploadHaven.
- Wait 5 seconds and click on the blue ‘download now’ button. We recommend using a download manager for faster download speeds. (You can use FDM which is free here, or any other download manager).
- Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to HYPNOS v0.3.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
- Double click inside the HYPNOS v0.3 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
