About Causal Loop

Exo-archaeologist Bale arrives on the alien world of Tor Ulsat with his colleague Jen, an exo-linguist, to investigate the ruins of the lost Tor civilization. However, when Bale inadvertently activates the Chronolith—an ancient and powerful device—reality fractures, causing Jen to disappear and trapping Bale in a shattered world where time loops and echoes of past and future events intertwine. Cut off from mission control, Bale must navigate a series of complex challenges, uncover the fate of the Tor, and outsmart enigmatic forces working against him. As the boundaries of time dissolve and secrets remain buried within the ruins, Bale’s only chance of escape lies in solving the mystery of the Tor before he becomes lost in the loop forever. Causal Loop features the innovative “Echo Branching” mechanic, allowing players to record, re-record, and replay actions while interacting with up to three echoes of their past selves.
