About Windrose

Windrose is a survival adventure set in an alternative Age of Piracy, combining the classic “build, craft, survive” formula with intense combat and immersive exploration on land and sea. Navigate vast procedurally generated biomes filled with hidden mysteries, hand-crafted dungeons, and quests that challenge both your wits and skills. As a daring captain who challenges the infamous Blackbeard, you will engage in brutal naval combat featuring seamless transitions between ship and shore, from long-range cannon fire to fierce boarding actions. Customize your ship from nimble ketches to monstrous frigates, recruit a loyal crew, and claim your spoils while sharing sea shanties as you sail toward your next adventure. The game weaves a gripping narrative of survival and revenge that escalates into a larger conflict among empires, pirate clans, and supernatural forces lurking on the horizon. Establish your foothold in vibrant, diverse biomes by gathering resources and building everything from simple shelters to elaborate mansions and fortified settlements. Recruit NPCs to speed up harvesting and production, and explore over 100 hand-crafted dungeons and points of interest filled with secrets and treasures, though danger awaits at every turn. Engage in dynamic combat using a wide arsenal of melee weapons and firearms, mastering parries, dodges, and skill chains while tailoring your fighting style through talents, unique armor sets, and consumable buffs. Trade with various factions to gain strategic advantages, and test your mettle against challenging bosses to claim rare rewards. Windrose supports solo offline play and co-op multiplayer for up to eight players, with procedural generation ensuring that every journey is unique. For optimal performance, especially in late-game content, a party of up to four players is recommended.

• Wait 5 seconds and click on the blue ‘download now’ button. We recommend using a download manager for faster download speeds. (You can use FDM which is free here, or any other download manager).
• Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Windrose v0.10.0.6.213.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
• Double click inside the Windrose v0.10.0.6.213 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
