PostBear Tales is a vibrant 2D platformer that challenges players with short, skill-based levels centered around picking up and throwing items, reminiscent of classic 8/16-bit gameplay. You take on the role of PostBear, a dedicated courier whose lifelong dream is to deliver parcels and letters that bring joy to others. When the King entrusts you with a mysterious letter destined for the neighboring kingdom’s ruler, you embark on an adventurous journey through diverse worlds. Each area offers multiple levels that you can tackle in any order, featuring a variety of enemies to defeat by hurling boxes and other objects. Along the way, you’ll collect stars to purchase helpful items that enhance your abilities and aid your quest. Explore over 80 levels spread across four distinct regions, including boss battles and bonus stages, with three adjustable difficulty settings to suit your playstyle. The game’s colorful 8-bit style graphics and smooth controls—best experienced with a controller—complement the engaging gameplay as you deliver important missives and uncover secrets. PostBear Tales also offers unique moments such as riding a Lambretta, adding variety to your delivery adventure. Completing the game typically takes between two and three hours, with faster completion possible for seasoned players. - Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to PostBear Tales.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
- Double click inside the PostBear Tales folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
