Paragnosia: Museum combines intense anomaly-spotting with suspenseful camera-based gameplay, placing you in the role of Claire Ballard, an exorcist employed by the Cam-on-Rail Company. Your task is to monitor the eerie Duskheath Museum throughout the night and neutralize paranormal disturbances before they escalate. Each hour introduces new supernatural changes, ranging from obvious to nearly imperceptible, requiring sharp observation and careful comparison to detect emerging anomalies. The game challenges your attention to detail, as some anomalies can only be spotted from specific angles, and at the end of every round, you’ll learn how many you missed. The museum itself is a chilling setting, featuring exhibitions on ancient Egypt, pre-Columbian civilizations, cursed artifacts, and funeral relics, all shrouded in dark history. Failure to detect anomalies weakens the six protective locks that safeguard you against the malevolent forces within the museum. Lose all locks before 8:00 AM, and the sinister entity will confront you directly. Survival depends entirely on your vigilance and ability to perform precise actions at critical moments to exorcise certain spirits. With up to 130 anomalies to discover and strategies to adapt, the game offers a tense, immersive experience lasting between 45 and 200 minutes. Will you succeed in uncovering the museum’s secrets, or will you become a permanent part of its haunted collection?
