About Cubetory

Cubetory is a factory-building game centered entirely on automation, where players design and optimize production lines using a variety of machines such as mining drills, conveyor belts, launchers, stampers, and power stations. The challenge comes from limited space and uniquely distributed resource patches, requiring careful planning to efficiently utilize each paint and ore deposit to meet production goals. As you expand your island and unlock new technologies, new resources become available, encouraging increasingly complex and compact factory layouts. With no enemies or time constraints, players can take their time to experiment and refine their strategies at their own pace. The game’s progression system is directly tied to your production rate, demanding ever-greater efficiency to unlock subsequent upgrades. Each production milestone builds upon previous targets, pushing you to continually optimize your factory’s output. All products in Cubetory are cubes, which are collected in the PIT—a central hub for managing your manufacturing process. Early gameplay focuses on mining and painting cubes, but complexity escalates quickly with the introduction of assembly chains, byproducts, and unpredictable processes. This layered approach ensures a deep, engaging experience for players who enjoy intricate automation challenges and strategic factory design.

Instructions

Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Cubetory.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
Double click inside the Cubetory folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
