About Chickenauts

Chickenauts is a companion-based action roguelite that puts you in the middle of a chaotic alien invasion on your farm. When extraterrestrial invaders abduct your chickens for bizarre genetic experiments, you grab your gun and a mutated chicken companion to reclaim your land and exact revenge. Blast your way through a massive, randomized alien mothership alongside an arsenal of lethal, mutated chickens inspired by pop culture icons, each bringing unique traits and abilities to the fight. Every run offers a fresh experience as you free, arm, and mutate your feathered allies with multiple stacking mutations, creating overpowered companions of mass destruction to take on the alien menace. The game features fast-paced, intense sessions composed of compact, randomized rooms that can be cleared in under a minute, ensuring quick but varied gameplay. Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Chickenauts v0.9.2.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
Double click inside the Chickenauts v0.9.2 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
