Your journey begins with a plane crash, leaving you stranded on a tropical island teeming with lush vegetation and hidden dangers. Awakening from the wreckage, you quickly discover you are not alone; a disabled old man, a previous survivor, remains on the island and guides you through essential survival tasks while revealing the island’s mysterious past. Dig Island is a digging, survival, and exploration game that challenges players to manage resources, make smart decisions, and satisfy their curiosity to escape or become part of the island’s history. Digging is central to progress—you start by uncovering common materials near the surface, but deeper layers yield rarer and more valuable resources. Every action, from digging to managing hunger and health, requires careful planning to avoid becoming stranded underground. Crafting plays a vital role in your survival as you gather a wide variety of materials, fish for food, and process resources through multiple crafting stations. Smelting ores, refining components, and combining materials allow you to create an expanding array of tools, upgrades, equipment, and advanced devices. To escape, you must repair and assemble your broken plane piece by piece, managing power sources such as fuel-fed generators and solar panels that require repair before they can provide steady energy. The game supports solo play or cooperative multiplayer for up to four players who can share tasks, explore deeper underground, and face the island’s unpredictable challenges together. Dynamic weather, hidden locations, an elevator system for deep digging, fishing for sustenance, and jetpacks to access unreachable areas all enrich the immersive survival experience on Dig Island.
