Armoured Commander II places you in the role of a World War II tank commander, guiding your crew through over 50 diverse campaigns set between 1939 and 1945. Each campaign features more than 800 historically-based unit types, with procedurally generated terrain maps, weather conditions, and enemy forces, ensuring that no two playthroughs are the same. As your commander and crew gain experience, they improve their stats and skills, but remain vulnerable to injury or death, adding a layer of tension and realism to every decision. The game’s turn-based structure allows you to carefully plan your moves, balancing survival against overwhelming odds across various theatres—from the early armored clashes in Asia and Poland to the climactic battles on the Eastern Front and the Pacific Islands.
