About Aeon's End
Aeon’s End offers a fresh take on deck-building games with its innovative mechanics and cooperative play. Set in the final bastion of humanity, the city of Gravehold, players control up to four breach mages who must defend against relentless monstrous invaders known as the Nameless. Each mage starts with a unique deck and special abilities, and players use aether—gained by playing gems—to acquire new cards, cast powerful spells, and unlock additional breaches to amplify their magical potential. The game’s distinct approach to randomness eliminates deck shuffling, preserving the order of discarded cards to encourage strategic planning. Instead, unpredictability arises from a shuffled turn order at the start of each round, determining if the nemesis or the mages act first or even consecutively, adding tension and depth to each decision. Players must carefully balance offense and defense to protect Gravehold, as the city’s life total represents humanity’s survival—if it falls to zero, the mages lose. The game features eight unique breach mages, each with specialized abilities and starting cards, alongside four Nemesis bosses with distinct playstyles and attack patterns, ensuring no two encounters are the same. - Double click inside the Aeon's End folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
