About An Ankou
An Ankou is a fast-paced action roguelike where you take on the role of Death’s servant, tasked with guiding souls from the land of the living while battling relentless hordes of demons. Set in a haunted open environment, players explore eerie landscapes, scavenge resources, and craft essential equipment to survive. Each run introduces a newly deceased individual who assumes the mantle of the Ankou, bringing unique tools and skills from their previous profession—whether blacksmith, soldier, apothecary, or cook—offering diverse playstyles and strategic options. Random events and optional challenges scattered across the maps enhance replayability, ensuring that no two playthroughs feel the same. As you wield your scythe, cart, and crafted gear, you’ll face escalating waves of demonic foes, including powerful bosses demanding quick reflexes and tactical decisions. - Double click inside the An Ankou v0.5.2 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
