Kinetic is a first-person platformer that emphasizes smooth, responsive movement and precise control as you optimize trajectories to complete levels with speed and efficiency. The core gameplay revolves around mastering momentum and using portals to navigate through three distinct dimensions, each offering unique mechanics and challenges. The concrete dimension features classic first-person parkour moves, while the ice dimension introduces fast, gliding movement inspired by popular surf and ice modes from games like Counter Strike and Urban Terror, but designed to be accessible for beginners. The bounce dimension adds a dynamic twist by allowing players to rebound off any surface without losing momentum, creating opportunities for creative pathing and rapid traversal. Players can switch freely between these dimensions using portals once unlocked, adding layers of strategy to each run. Each level in Kinetic includes its own leaderboard, enabling players to compete for the best times globally or among friends, fostering a competitive community. Additionally, a global leaderboard aggregates the top performances across all levels, encouraging players to improve their overall skills. To assist in learning and strategy, players can view traces of other runners’ trajectories by selecting entries from the leaderboard, providing insight into different approaches and techniques. This feature enhances replayability and helps players refine their own runs. Double click inside the Kinetic folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
