BROKEN TAPE is a narrative-driven first-person walking simulator infused with psychological horror elements, placing you in the role of a test subject working for the enigmatic Anomaly Fighting Foundation® (AFF). Your mission is to locate and eliminate anomalies hidden within a series of mysterious old videotapes, each containing far more than initially apparent. Stripped of your past and identity, you are given a singular purpose: to serve humanity by navigating through five distinct environments crafted from these tapes. From the endless maze-like offices and identical hotel corridors to the daunting warehouse shelves, the never-ending stairways, and the deceptively peaceful firewatch station, each setting presents unique challenges and eerie atmospheres that test your resolve and perception. As you delve deeper into each tape, your objective is clear—get in, find the anomaly, neutralize it, and get out. However, anomalies are not always easy to spot or confront, demanding careful observation and courage. Every moment spent inside these surreal, unsettling spaces provides researchers with vital data on the nature of these tapes, making your efforts crucial to unraveling a larger mystery. The AFF warns of the risks involved, emphasizing that they bear no responsibility for any injuries sustained during anomaly research. - Double click inside the BROKEN TAPE folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
