Abermore is a first-person stealth RPG that casts players as “The Unhanged Man,” a legendary Robin Hood-like figure preparing for a daring heist over an 18-day campaign. Set in the neo-Edwardian city of Abermore, each day presents unique, procedurally generated heists, quests, and encounters with a diverse cast of characters. Players must navigate a web of challenging demands and choose collaborators wisely to assemble a ragtag crew, each member offering distinct advantages that can ease the path toward the ultimate score known as “The Feast of the Lucky Few.” The game’s dynamic world encourages exploration and strategic planning, with every robbery and interaction shaping the unfolding story in unpredictable ways. To aid in these capers, “The Unhanged Man” wields supernatural powers granted by tarot cards, providing 14 unique abilities that enhance stealth, movement, and defense. Players can barter stolen goods on the Black Market, acquiring new weapons and unconventional tools to customize their approach.
