For fifteen centuries, Hush House stood as a fortress of knowledge—until a devastating fire reduced its vast collection to ashes and left the last Librarian vanished. Now, only someone with your unique talents can rebuild the library and unravel its hidden mysteries. As the newest Librarian, you embrace solitude within the crumbling walls, finding solace in organizing books and customizing your new home while uncovering centuries of history etched into occult stones. Your influence, however, extends far beyond Hush House, as you shape how history is written in this elegant, melancholy, combat-free crafting RPG set in an occult library. Created by the minds behind Fallen London, Sunless Sea, and the double BAFTA-nominated Cultist Simulator, BOOK OF HOURS invites you to explore a rich world of secret histories and arcane knowledge. In this immersive 20 to 40 (or even 100) hour journey, you will acquire and investigate occult books and curiosities, craft and use inks, memories, and esoteric tools, and study the nine Wisdoms to conquer the nine Elements of the Soul. Guide visitors who come seeking your aid, gaining rewards as they unravel their own investigations, and restore the vast, crumbling edifice built on ancient abbey foundations. Your choices define your past and write your own history as you select from nine distinct Legacies, including the Magnate who abandons wealth for peace, the cursed Archaeologist, or the mysterious Symurgist and Twiceborn. Developed by the two-person Weather Factory team with support from talented freelancers and partially funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe Programme – MEDIA, BOOK OF HOURS offers a deeply atmospheric experience where every playthrough reveals a new opportunity to shape the occult world around you.

- Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to BOOK OF HOURS v2025.8.e.7.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
- Double click inside the BOOK OF HOURS v2025.8.e.7 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
