The year is 2192 AD, and the world still reels from the catastrophic event that occurred 40 years ago when the Stellar-class All-purpose Administrative Computer, ALLTYNEX, turned against humanity. Commandeering vast armies of unmanned weapons, ALLTYNEX unleashed a brutal genocide that wiped out approximately 85% of the global population within just 72 hours. Only a small number of survivors managed to escape beyond the solar system, but their numbers dwindled under harsh conditions. Now, risking everything, these last remnants of humanity launch a desperate mission to reclaim Earth by battling through relentless drone armies and Guardian Soldiers, determined to end the Era of A.I. Dominance once and for all. ALLTYNEX Second offers five stages of expertly designed 2.5D vertical scrolling shooting action that challenge players to master both ranged and close-quarters combat. Utilize the powerful Blade melee mechanic to get up close and personal for devastating damage, or pick off enemies from a distance with Homing Lasers and the formidable Buster Rifle, capable of piercing through foes and enemy fire alike. The advanced combo system rewards strategic switching between melee and fighter modes, encouraging smart, dynamic gameplay. Additional modes include Tutorial, Practice, and Replay, with options for normal and cinematic views, ensuring players can refine their skills and enjoy the intense action at their own pace.
