About Titans of the Past

Titans of the Past draws inspiration from classic RPGs like Wizardry, Might and Magic VI-VIII, The Bard’s Tale, Eye of the Beholder, and Legend of Grimrock, blending first-person dungeon crawling with party management to create a rich, old-school experience. Developed by a passionate Ukrainian team for a hardcore audience, the game challenges players to explore handcrafted dungeons while developing their characters’ skills, equipment, and spells reminiscent of the 90s golden era of role-playing games. Players can fully customize Adventurers with unique portraits, voices, and personalities, taking on a game world that moves only when they do—combining real-time action with thoughtful, pause-anytime strategy. The RPG system is deep, featuring multiple classes, races, and stats, with skills advancing through four mastery levels, class-specific abilities, and complex mechanics such as critical hits, resistances, and cooldown modifiers. The itemization system is procedurally generated and intricate, offering a Diablo-like experience with prefixes, suffixes, crafting, and rerolling to hunt for the best gear. Beyond dungeon crawling, players can embark on procedurally generated adventures, making strategic choices between encounters like dungeons, campfires, shops, and unexpected events, all influenced by modifiers that affect difficulty and rewards. The handcrafted dungeons, combined with randomized monster spawns, secrets, and gameplay mutators, ensure high replayability. Resources gathered on these adventures can be invested into building and upgrading a town, unlocking new races, classes, items, skills, and crafting options, enhancing the depth of character creation and progression. With 35 classes, 15 races, over 200 spells, 200+ items, and numerous mutators and perks, Titans of the Past offers virtually infinite adventure possibilities. Created by a small, no-budget team using a mix of purchased, free, and self-made assets, including AI-generated portraits and icons, the game embodies pure passion and dedication to the old-school RPG spirit.

Instructions

• Click the Download button below and you will be redirected to UploadHaven.
• Wait 5 seconds and click on the blue ‘download now’ button. We recommend using a download manager for faster download speeds. (You can use FDM which is free here, or any other download manager).
• Once the game is finished downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to Titans of the Past.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
• Double click inside the Titans of the Past folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
