Milestone

GOG Unlocked Hits 24,887+ Games

We're proud to announce that our library has officially surpassed 24,887 games. This is a huge milestone for the site and we couldn't have done it without the community's support and game requests.

Earlier this year, we completed a full import of the GOG.com catalog — bringing in thousands of DRM-free titles across every genre. Whether you're into RPGs, strategy, indie gems, or classics from the 90s, it's all here.

Feature

New Site Features: Search Overhaul & Sidebar Redesign

We've rolled out several major improvements to make finding games faster and easier:

Smarter Search — Our search engine now uses AND matching, so searching for "far cry" only returns actual Far Cry games instead of every title containing either word. We've also added alias support — searching "gta" will automatically find Grand Theft Auto titles, "cod" finds Call of Duty, and so on for 14 popular abbreviations.

Redesigned Sidebar — Every page now includes a new sidebar with Browse by Genre links, a ranked Popular Games section, Recently Added titles with dates, and a Discover a Random Game button.

Smart Quote Support — Searching from mobile? Curly quotes from your keyboard (like assassin's vs assassin's) are now automatically normalized so you always get results.

Update

FAQ, Request Games & Request Updates Pages Redesigned

We've completely redesigned three core pages to improve usability and make information easier to find:

The FAQ page now covers 13 common questions with detailed answers and links to relevant sections of the site. It also includes FAQ Schema markup, which means our answers may start appearing directly in Google search results.

The Request Games and Request Updates pages have been rebuilt with cleaner layouts and simplified rules. If a game is available on GOG.com, you can request it — that's all you need to know.

Milestone

Full GOG.com Catalog Import Complete

After weeks of work, we've successfully imported the entire GOG.com game catalog into our library. Over 23,000 new game pages have been created, each with cover art, descriptions, genres, and download links.

Every imported game links back to its official GOG.com store page so you can support the developers if you enjoy the game.

All titles are fully indexed and searchable from the library page.

Feature

Category Pages & Internal Linking Improvements

All category pages have been redesigned with custom header boxes, proper H1 tags, and SEO-optimized meta descriptions. Each category now shows a game count and a description tailored for search engines.

We've also added "You May Also Like" sections to every game page, showing 8 related games from the same genre. This makes it much easier to discover similar titles without going back to the category listing.

Info

Download Speeds & File Hosting

We've received questions about download speeds. All game files are hosted through UploadHaven, which provides reliable direct downloads for all users.

If you want faster speeds with no wait times, you can upgrade to UploadHaven Pro. Otherwise, using a download manager like JDownloader can help improve speeds on the free tier.
